The Project started as an existing residence in Bryanston, approximately 300m²,it was then remodelled for the client to modernise and resolve the accommodation to suit the clients needs.
Background
Entity Architects were appointed as the architect and project manager on the project and it was my responsibility to take this project from inception to completion.
The design aimed to open up the existing structure allowing for the rooms to spill out and interface with the beautiful gardens on the north side of the property.
Responsibilities
- Designing of the scheme with review from the Principal Architect (This includes, Conceptual design, council submission drawings, working drawings and site visits)
- Assisting Project lead in delivering milestones
- Attending site meetings and assisting with project managing directly under the Principal Architect.
- Preparation of site minutes.
- Leasing with the client.
- Issuing of construction drawings to main and sub-contractors.
- Co-ordination with the Engineers and others professionals.
- Preparation of council submission drawings.
- Preparation of construction documentation.
